Yes, spindle way too short. Diameter of the spindle appears correct but the Sram I bought doesn't go far enough into the bike to catch the non drive bearing surface.

This is a Storck Aernario G1. I bought it frame only and, when it arrived I thought I had been shipped an empty box

The BB is 92 wide from outside face to outside face.
