That’s an option. Being able to copy the screenshots doesn’t preclude this option.
But the quality is not good. Plus, you might have to crop the image.
Plugging the device in isn’t as difficult as you imply either. Especially, if you have a fair amount of screen shots.
Whether it’s worth the extra minor effort of plugging it in might depend on what you are doing with the screenshots.
