I'd sized my sock orders based on my shoe size so medium was what I'd ordered since I'm a 9-1/2'er. Maybe should go with LARGE next time? I might try a pair, see what happens, but I don't to wear want socks that fall down to my ankles. I donated the several pairs I'd been wearing to a second-hand resale shop rather than simply tossing 'em for landfill.
With the right size I doubt they'd fall - that's one of the things I liked about the DT socks. The elastic is very good and my ankle length versions have never slipped, even the ones I've had for years.
