The Tecno is not just like any old Tommasini. It is made with oversized tubing and meant for strong or heavy riders. It only came into production in the 1990s and they regularly sell for more money than other models that may look similar but are not functionally the same, such as the Super Prestige and Sintesi.
This is spot on and I can attest to this. It is at least as stiff as EM MX Leader (modified Columbus MAX) I used to own:
and the frame is almost 400 grams lighter at around 1860 grams compared to 2200+ for MX Leader.
