Yep wide gears. I need em. I've got the 7 spd 12-32 sram, $20, weighs about 400 grams, (my favorite cassette). Indexed shifting. 53/39 rings.

modern nitto stem, old nitto randoneur bar
7800 Dura Ace calipers, R55C4 pads & basic shimano levers (fantastic combo)

the wheels are criminally heavy but they feel amazing once they spin up and the bearings are mint and i'm bunny hopping up curbs on them so it's cool.
