Advanced search does work well. But sometimes takes too much to set up the options. If you specify the website you wish to search, then google is a little less time keying in stuff. Just put site:bikeforums.net after your search terms.

For example... how to use the search function site:bikeforums.net

I think other search engines also will use the operator term site:. But I didn't double check before stating this.
