Short max insertion dropper?

I have an older Liv Pique full suspension bike in size XS. I'm trying to modernize the ride for my wife by adding a dropper.

This is one of those FS bikes that has a bunch of stuff going on in the seat tube, and it's also really small.

The externally routed 100mm PNW I had on her other bike is way too long. I did some measurements and it seems that a height from the bottom of the collar of the post to end of the seatpost needs to be no more than 180-185mm.

The only one I could find is the One Up V3 in 90mm. That's got a max insertion of 175. It would work. It's short but so is she.

I'm sure it's an excellent post. It's $269 and I could get 15 percent off if I sign up for emails. It's a steep price for such a tiny dropper. The same cost as the 210mm one.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper or off brand dropper with a similarly short max insertion? The bike is 30.9 but I'm very happy to shim a 27.2. With the way is set up for the no longer used front derailleur, it would be simple to do either internal or external routing.

Any ideas?
