I'm a bicycle hobbyist from Canada and mostly ride for utility or recreational reasons. Nearly daily year round rider since 2023 after a heart event, ditched my car last summer and havent looked back (we are now a 1 car household - so car light). I love working on bikes and the idea of building a bike as a form of expression/ art, a means of getting around and a from of self sufficient transportation that gets us away from relying so heavily on car culture. The health benefits dont hurt either. I'm also looking forward to sharing my builds, daily drivers, biking anecdotes and learning from you guys and sharing my mechanical knowledge from fellow enthusiasts in this community.
