Another click of the ratchet towards a rideable bike:

pastorbobnlnh sent me not one, but two 36-hole AW hubs! One a 1949 threaded, with an 18t, the other a '73.
The current 'plan', improperly so-called, is to use the '49, geared either 36x22 (more likely) or 38x24. (a little better, but 24s are harder to find.) Real fun with the threaded driver would be a multi-cog and the Hercules 'Herailleur' derailleur. (The only RD I'd ever put on the bike.)
Next up will be the wheel build. Front first... it's been about 20 years.
