The cable housing from the chain stay to rear derailleur needs a bit of help to avoid that kink. What I have done is add a thin zip tie about an inch from the stop to help the cable housing lie a bit flatter. In the alternative, the old style coiled metal housing works very well and does not materially diminish your shifting accuracy.
