Nexus have one that pulls forward along the bottom. The former is supposedly better at shifting under load. I use Nexus as well and it shifts fine at rest.
My Alfine 11 wraps around the top. The only time or didn’t shift well was when I let the first oil change go way too long, and then it stuck in the winter. I changed it and now it’s fine.
