Another warm one today, so I made a point of getting out as early as I could after getting at least SOME work on the patio done. I've been trying to get Mrs. GJ's accumulation of planting crap the hell off the table out there, because it's like the Roach Motel - crap checks in, but it doesn't check out! When I was working it didn't bother me so much because it's almost always too cold out to eat on the patio by the time we have dinner (generally after 8), but now that I'm retired, it would be nice to be able to sit out there some afternoons, with some ice tea, maybe something to nosh.

Anyway, I was able to get on the road a little after noon, and JUST missed the urchins from the last grade school on the Alameda before Crystal Springs - Wednesday is Early Day, for some reason. Most of the ride, I was able to stay in the shade. Temps were mostly mid-80s - pleasant till I had to stop and wait for a light to change.
