One of the most popular local bike routes is "The Loop" through expensive Portola Valley. The fault line runs right under the road.
At a few places on Portola Road, you can put one foot on the Pacific Plate, and the other foot on the North American Plate.
On an average Sunday ride, I probably cross it 4 or 5 times.
