I would pay for premium membership if it did not automatically renew, I have an aversion to auto-renew, and would pay a small surcharge for a one off payment for a fixed period. I am interested, does anyone else feel like this?
All you have to do is go to your PayPal account and de-authorize the ability of them to renew it. And you can probably do that very soon after paying for your subscription. Though I'd give it a few days before I doing that.
As I've mentioned to others, you should look at the entities that are already authorized to withdraw from your PayPal account. If you use PayPal often, you probably will be surprised that some you didn't think you authorized are already on it..
