ATM, of my 11 road bikes, only one ISN'T running 25s, and with them at 85/90 or 90/95 (depending on inner rim width), for sure they're a touch harsher than the 28s on the Canyon at 80/85, but not hugely so. And all of them are WAY cushier than how I used to roll - 23s or 25s at 120 or higher. I wonder if people are chasing the impossible dream?
I think 25 is fine, but all the cool kids think wider is better. It's human nature to seek "improvement" even if it is marginal gains and/or marketing.
