Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mega-walk Report:

I was walking along Sherrill, en route to the Browne Squirrel, when I see two Canadian Geese slowly walking along a thin strip of grass (below).

Well, that's odd, I'd never any around there before.

When I got closer, I saw there were two Geeselets waddling behind them.

Note there's a small pond down below.

[Recall that last week I saw a dead Goose along the same road. #CircleOfLife]

Had a good ride today with weather in the high 60s. Ditched the group ride since they were doing some insane climbs just to do insane climbs. It seems like every other cyclist in the entire Seattle area was out as well. Did a nice loop of 70 miles and kept the pace very moderate due to the 3600’ in 4 climbs.

It’s a radio control scale model jet. Kind of like this which is much faster
