Instead, I've lost 8 - 10 lbs, and currently find myself around 205 or so. I've mentioned before, when I retired I was thinking I would certainly gain weight since at work I was on my feet and walking 5 days per week, plus the other physical aspects of the job, (getting on the floor and back up, lifting things, etc.). Instead, I lost weight. Less stress eating at the vending machines has to be part of it but I am also clearly less muscular than before.
Now that I am sedentary, I wonder if I will pack on the pounds again. When I was injured in 1988 I gained 35 pounds before I snapped out of it.
