Ick. Those calories are so much better spent on baked goods.
Water, milk, or ice tea were what we drank when I was growing up. Sodas were a rare treat. Nowadays, if we buy Coke it will disappear in a couple days - TYB and Mrs. GJ have no willpower when it comes to Coke. When I was working, I'd drink one Coke at lunch, and that was it. It was free, to me anyway. Sometimes I'd steal one to drink after my post-work ride, if it was >90 degrees. So nowadays I mostly drink water, esp. because the doc treating my hypertension thinks I'm chronically dehydrated.
