im lucky to have a somewhat lean body type, you can tell by looking at my wrists and ankles. leggy too with a long inseam (32" at 5'9"). still though, i carry more mass on my upper body than i'd like, have a big chest. usually around 150 although i try to be closer to 145 as much as is reasonable. i was 155-160 for a while after college, losing 10 lbs was big for my cycling performance. was a stagnant category 3 racer for a long time and started winning a lot with that weight loss. power the same more or less

for me a lot of it is bloating too - I think that at my size, just water weight from eating salty food can swing the weight a couple lbs in either direction. during the work week I meal prep overnight oats w berries and boiled eggs, and a veggie sandwich for lunch. so that's pretty clean living most of the time. dinner is often more unhealthy and accompanied by a couple drinks, although we do cook a lot and have some health recipies. and at least 1-2 nights/week w no alcohol.

I think big john hit a nuance that resonates with me - not restricting too much during the day. you end up snacking and just eating a huge dinner. it really is better for you to eat more during the day and have a modest portion before going to bed. helps w sleep quality too if you don't have a bunch of digestion to do at night. or so I think

Pretty sure datlas is the leanest regular contributor to this thread, or at least in lbs/in of height. Chris Froome body type.
