it creaks up a storm around 70rpm cadence and 17-18mph steady state pedaling. as you get further away from those parameters it's mildly creaky but not as offensive, ghost pedal it and it goes away completely, and of course with coasting. chainring bolts would be a happy simple problem, will check it out. my fear is it's something to do with the seating/torquing of the BB itself. the surface that the special socket attaches to is so shallow that i had a hard time getting enough grip on it to definitively reach the (pretty high) torque spec, although i feel like i probably did. also not sure if/how much grease is supposed to be between the raw carbon shell of the frame and the BB. weird design.
