Yep. You might have a wind turbine capable of producing 10mW of power - if the wind is blowing, whereas current power generators can run all day everyday at capacity. This is why wind generators cannot replace coal, nuclear, geothermal, hydro etc. Tree huggers can jump up and down all they want, but they have to accept the reality that wind power can only be used compliment base load supplies, not replace it. They need to spend some $$$ and look at alternatives to replace coal or make it cleaner to burn (says the Latrobe Valley boy) , specially coz I get farkin coal dust all over my house.
