I went to my Strava stats to see the longest time I managed 8.7 W/kg. It was on a short climb segment where I was trying to set the KOM. 40 seconds, and I was blown at the top.
40 seconds vs. 225 seconds -- not even in the same galaxy.
I guess I shouldn't feel too humiliated. I was 63 at the time, a fair amount older than Pogi and Seixas.
8.7 for nearly 4 minutes is bonkers. Crazy what the guys at the top are capable of.
I am also excited for Seixas' talent and look forward to his results in the seasons to come. It would be nice to have someone to challenge Pogi. Likeable rider but I want some variety in the results sheet
