It turns out there is a new cat in the neighborhood, we don't know who its owner is and it does not have a collar. It also does not have a tail. It seems quite interested in Jackie.

The problem is the new cat has learned how to use our cat door, and has been coming INTO THE HOUSE. Mrs datlas is NOT pleased.

I will need to see if I can replace our "dumb" cat door flap with one of those magnetic activated ones that only opens up when the cat with the magnet around its collar is nearby. I am afraid the sizing of cat doors may not be universal, so even if I get a new one, I expect the switch may be a challenge. For now, we are locking the cat door at night so there won't be any overnight suprises.
