I usually stop at Walmart after KCB practice. It's almost as cheap as Sam's Club--without cars lined up.
This evening there were cars waiting (even at 2115 hours), because Walmart was 30 cents cheaper than the nearby Weigel's.
I debated whether it was worth it to stop, but decided to do so. I lucked out because in the lane I chose the guy had already filled up his car (presumably) and a gas can and was putting the gas can in the trunk. So I didn't have to wait more than a minute.
I went about my filling business and as I did so another vehicle pulled up behind me.
I get back in the Accord to exit the station and see two cars lined up in the opposite direction are blocking my pathway out. wut
I start to inch forward, waiting for one of them to back up, and neither of them does. wut
I see that the one to my left has some space between him and the pump--enough for me to conduct a sharp U-turn around the pump I was just at (though I had to reverse a bit to make the turn).
Crazy stuff.
I spent $700 on gas last week.
