The folded sheet metal rear derailleur performed as poorly as it looked. Huret must have some secret sauce to make their folded sheet metal derailleurs function well.
What did they use for front derailleurs in those days?
The Lambert front derailleur was a push-rod mechanism much like the Campagnolo Valentino front derailleur.
