Agree with the above comments about torque. Clamp on derailleurs almost always do fine with just the minimum of recommended torque, only increase if necessary.
sadly, i see so many tightened until the bolt quits turning it's scary...and i've found many so tight the gap vanishes between the clamp halves, or the band breaks.
most new CF bikes use a mount plate affixed to the frame now, right? even my aging Fuji CF bike uses one.
i don't see many new CF bikes in this shop.. mostly older MTBs and BMX bikes.
just tore down a rear wheel yesterday that had Every Nipple rounded out, except two, and one spoke finally broke from the intense overloading... the rim went outward about 3/8" right where that spoke failed... "can you straighten this rim out?" i sold him a new/used wheel... it all started with a tiny out-of-true, and some bad advice from his "buddy".....
