You might try looking somewhere that has a lot of shoe care products, if you can find a product called "scuff be gone" it might help. It's a clear liquid, you apply it with a small applicator that's on the top of the container, and on leather it somehow makes some scuffs disappear, and on some it makes them very close to invisible. Use it sparingly, it does change the finish of the leather slightly, leaving it a little duller than surrounding areas.
