SWMBO's old man was in the enterainment industry (Vocalist/TV personality) and had a Rolls. Apparantly he was quite popular in the UK, so used to take an empty suitcase with him that he could pack with spare parts for the damn Rolls everytime he went over!

Also, have heard a rumour that Rolls owners had to sign a contract at sale specifying that it was never to be resprayed out of original colours, or Towed on a Tow Truck - tarnishing the image of the company. apparanrlty if you broke down you got a nice nondescript Rolls enclosed transporter that came and took your car away. anyone know if thats true?

far out, if jag owners dont like a 308 ( which is Australian by the way ) they must really get their knickers in a knot when they are used as donor cars for hot rods, which is quite popular
