I like your idea of the bike and surf car climbo. I bought my 1986 Corolla Seca Twin Cam two years ago as a "drive and forget" 2nd car & so far it's been serviced once, washed twice & is more fun to hammer around the city in than my wife's X-Trail. Plus I can fit the bike in the back with both wheels on.

But if we are talking European I'll take an Alfa GTV 105 series thanks.
