That's just wrong about that dude trying to pass you on the right on foothill. Ok so foothill is rather wide in some places, compared with most bike lanes. However, he shouldn't have passed you on the right unless there was a major road hazard which would have made it dangerous to pass on the left. From what you said this didn't seem to be the case, so the guy was just being a jerk.
I have no idea what their deal is. I have noticed a bit of elitism in their ranks which is one reason why I stayed aaway from them when I was looking for a team to join. I'd rather travel a longer distance to be with a team of people that are good racers and cool people than to go next door to a team that can't be good examples on the road.
