Bikes: Trek VRX 300; Scott Speedster S2; Novara Randonee

Oh yeah, we did a quick fitting and the salesman, who seemed EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly, said I would need a 50. I'm 5'9" (5'10" in the morning...hehe) and weight 150 lbs., does this sound like the right size. I have a 30" inseam.
