I don't have pictures, but I've owned both of these bags. My midpack didn't have a side pocket to stash a lock in, or compression straps. It was probably half the size of my L Frieght backpack, and the quality of construction didn't seem as nice as my Freight either. I'm sure REload would put the side pocket on if you were getting the bag custom made, and they might even come stock on most bags, mine was from their "custom stock" collection, so it could have been an oddball.
My Freight bag compresses down to ride just as comfortably as the REload did, but if I undo the compression straps I can fit 2-3 30 packs or file boxes in/on it. Another plus is nothing falls out of the Freight bag, where the REload's are notorious for having stuff fall out of them after they break in.
