the price, while high, makes sense.

1)they are made in sf, by a small company.

2)they are well thought out and made of a high performance fabric (stretchy and fast drying)

3)the cut is very attractive and i've recieved many compliments on the style alone. obviously some planning went into this, not just copying someone else's design.

you won't completely miss out on life if you don't wear these, but if you get caught in the rain and you do hapen to have a pair on, you will be super happy when you get to the bar and 10 min later they are dry, while all of you friends are grumbling about their soaked jeans.

also, my gf just bought a pair of the hypnotic designs lefty lucys and she doesn't really like them. apparently the waisband is really high and she says it makes her look like a grandma. not sure if this translates into the hanksters.
