Thought about just sanding it back, taping off the chrome bits and using some auto spray paint.
Sounds good, you could always try one of those auto paint-matching places to get a shade of pink that works with the red rims. Better to strip back to a bare frame for painting, but probably too much work in this case?
But really, you need to nip this pink thing in the bud, or your life will be rendered hideous - just think of pink florals.
