I sanded and Scotchbrited Royales' Ti Arete entirely by hand. It's theraputic!

However, if I can buy a media blaster for 60 bucks, I think I might start doing them in a 'speedblast' finish. (Called 'speedblast' of course because it only takes 20 minutes to do instead of 4 hours) The other option I'm considering is shot-peening, but that scares me. "Hi there, here's a 3600 buck titanium frame I want shot peened. Be careful though, the tubes are only 0.9 of a mil thick."
