i think this may have been covered recently, but i couldn't find it.

last nite i was installing my new wheels with campy "sheriff star" hubs. my shimano cog threaded right on, but the shimano DA lockring wouldn't thread, and in fact seemed too small. the campy lockring threaded on just fine however, which is fine for now but i've heard they can strip easily, and in fact this one seems to be on it's way out.

so what lock ring alternatives to i have?
