Lost my left eye on a 22 mile ride.
Hello all! I just got back from a 22 miles ride (on the constitution trail in Bloomington Normal for any of you in Certral Illinois). It was a dang good ride, not too much wind, and got it done in just under 1.5 hours (this is good for me... I have no clue how it ranks with other...). The best part was when a gust of side wind came and even though I was weaing glasses, stole my left contact out of my eye. SO, I had to ride about 18 miles with out a left eye so to speak haha! Has anybody else experienced this?? Does anybody know how to prevent this other than getting RX riding glasses? Thanks all!
