Bikes: Bianchi 928 Carbon/Veloce

So you lose the weight and "can wear" the spandex--what happens at that point? Someone sees the skinny you in tight clothes riding a bike and calls you a ***. People whose lives are miserable won't hesitate to make sure you're part of their world. Seeing you do anything positive will activate their own feelings of inadequacy and provoke putdowns as a defensive gesture.

The issues of others are their problem, even if they try to cast them on to you. Deal with your own and only your own--ride lots and eat a proper diet. I can't remember who said it but, "The key to success is constancy of purpose." It can be difficult at times, but don't let yourself be deterred.

Good luck, Sir.
