hey if you have the dough, check out titus bikes. they have very low standover, probably one of the lowest out there. their racerx is good for racing and the motolite good for horsing around on the trail: titusti.com

this standover thing is a pain, i guess i have a shortish inseam and my current bike can be pretty harsh to me if im not paying attention. anyway, i looked around and found that titus had good standover. and hey, even ironhorse. though i looked at their mkiii model. if you are looking into the 100 mm bracket, then check out their azure. its a little heavier than a nomal xc bike though..

i think for 300 dollars extra titus would even customize bike geometry to fit you better. and they also have women specific models, which i guess are pretty good. why dont you go over to the womens forum at mtbr, they could help you out better than i could.

you can see the women titus models on their site and for an idea of cost go here:

here is the link to the womens mtbr forum: http://forums.mtbr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=94

best of luck, and dont forget pics!
