I don't care about how an album is made. Good music is good music. Who cares if it's recorded straight to tape or created entirely digitally? What about samples and electronica? You can hardly do those 'live'.

Now, if you're talking about straight out rock, that's fair enough, but a lot of the music I like is a mix of live recording, samples, electronica....heaps of crap going on that you can't do entirely live.

On the other hand, any band that enlists the help of an orchestra should be lynched.
