I made an educated guess (avatar and comments) and assumed you spoke Italian.... granchiolino means mistake, or mishap... that sort of thing. Not slang, but not a basic word. I used it thinking you were a native. I figured since you went through all the trouble of finding the information, that you might want to update those guys at "CR" of their mistake. BTW, it's grazie mille, not mille grazie... I know it translates funny but that's the way you say it. I'm not 100% in Italian either, it took me a long time to become purely conversational... great language with the ladies though... cheers!
