Going to a baseball game tonight, and I don't plan on riding home from the Bronx after a Yankee game at 11 in the evening. (I'll have my kid with me. Otherwise...sounds intriguing....) So I took the train in.

It's like going to a different country. People are so...odd! Everybody signifying their own little ideas of themselves, putting on makeup right there in front of the rest of the car, pretending not to see the pregnant woman and thereby keeping their seats. I felt like an alien.
On the plus side, my shirt wasn't dripping wet.
