Those guys build relationships, they don't just make the sale. I worked there for about 5 months, and can't really find a bad thing to say about them. Astute businessmen, and good to their employees as well as their customers. We were told to match the customer to the bike, there was never any pressure to make a sale. Yeah, you can complain about the prices, but the service is better than most. And if you go in and tell big Dave that I sent ya, he'll probably hook you up as best he can. They know some people aren't going to shop from based on price alone, and they're willing to try to win your business.
FWIW, I like to look at $10k bikes more than $1k bikes, wven though thats more my budget.
