I have a '05 Trek 1500. It has been a great bike but I already have the itch to upgrade. The auction for this 5200 looks pretty good. Best of all its in my home town!!!! I called them and they said I could come and look at the bike. Do you guys think its smart to buy a 2001 vs. my 2005. I realize its a lot more bike than the 1500, especially the frame. Any comments, suggestions?
