sorry to hijack this thread.

I have a Campione from the same period. Do you like the way the bike rides? I tried to do my research on the frame. Your bike is a Reparto Corse (Race Department) bike and was handmade in Italy (I think 2001 was the last year that this happened) the frame is the same one shared with at least with one other higher priced bike(better components). In my research, I can't figure out if the tubing is Reynolds 531 or 525. Does your specify?

I bought mine explicitly for a rain bike and it has grown into its own project bike. I bought a Chris King Threadless, cf fork and a new veloce grouppo. I sold the original mix of veloce and mirage components n ebay for $250. I sold the stem for $15, handlebars for $22, and the seat post for $16. I have had a lot of fun and I think I will be finished within a week with everything. I wanted an Italian steel bike. I like the ride and to me, the investment was worth it. If you like the way the bike rides, why not?

Apologies to the OP.
