Thanks 531. Don't really know what they are like as a wheel, but I was thinking more along the lines of traditionally spoked wheels as a bullet-proof everyday trainer.

That's been the biggest drawback when I changed from Shimano on the old bike to Campy on the new - can't swap the training wheels over.

And my mate's name is Rohan. Rides either a T-Mobile Giant or an TCR1 (I think). He's usually out on Beach Rd in the pre-dawn bunches though - don't know if they fit your muso life-style tho....
