I'm planning to wrap some cloth over foam as well. Is this what you did, Bob? I hope the shellac doesn't harm the foam tape underneath. I guess I'll try it out on some old tape I've still got. I've been riding around with motorcycle gloves for the past three years, carbon/ plastic knuckles and all. I don't recommend the Joe Rocket Super Motos. While they do have gel padding, the material sewn over it has the consistency of cotton gauze and was easily torn up the first day I got them. Full finger length for me, and this is riding around Houston,tx, so you can only imagine how nice they smell after a few month.
