Might be something in Garrigal National Park (near the Roseville Bridge) for you tho. Very steep climbs either side of the creek, and lotsa walking tracks that you could probably use as singletrack.
i know that the other side of lane cove Rd has the great north walk and several MTB trails, im jsutn ot sure how to get there from this end of town as i normally duck in and out at epping. the only entrances i know for sure are at epping, and on kissing point road just off the comenara.
