Hey, I just saw a video of the 'Big Brother Incident'. Anyone have an opinion on it?

Personally, I think having my face slapped with someone's genitals is, well, yuck, but the girl said "You're not going to Turkey Slap me are you?" and well, they did. Afterwards she then feels-up one of the guys and jokes around.

Now, the real question in my mind is, should 20somethings be rubbing their genitals in someones face for a joke in the first place, and should women see that as 'fun'?

Case of double standards I think. If a woman rubbed her crotch in a guys face, it would be labeled as gross and she would be labelled a '****'; but if you're a guy, you're obviously 'just having a laff'.

Personally, I also think women should aim a bit higher than 'something for guys to rub their penises on', but that's just me.

In The Age Tuesday, little Johnny said -

"The business community is always saying to me, 'Let us self regulate'. Well, here's a great opportunity fo Channel 10 to do a bit of self regulation and get this stupid program off the air."

However, using that logic, BB should encourage a continuance of this kind of behaviour because ratings go UP when there's controversy, which means more idiots staring at the screen, which means increased revenue through advertising.

Yet another case of Howard showing how little backbone he has. Calling something 'stupid' or 'In bad taste' placates the oldies and the youngsters flock to anything labelled thus like fies to poo, because Grandpa Johnny wouldn't approve (*snicker*), appealing to the teenage rebellion factor.

Corporations cannot self regulate, that's why we have the ACCC to put the smackdown on arseholes like HIH and anyone else who attempts to 'self regulate'.

If BB wasn't getting the ratings and wasn't making any cash, I'm sure 10 would axe it, but clearly it isn't, so why should anyone expect them to take it off the air? Also, anyone with access to the internet can see how tame ours is compared to even BB UK, so you could argue that taking BB AU off air would be a victory for the puritans and those wanting to promote censorship in this country.
