Thanks very much, it took me a while since I was doing it for the first time, but the Zinn book really helped. I'm planning on turning Mystery Fuji into a flat-bar fixed-gear. I recently built a 1996 Cannondale race bike (below).
I bought the frameset on ebay for $150 and it's in great condition and parts I had from the Mystery Fuji. I used to ride this frame as a road bike and let me tell you it rides nice and smooth for me at 210... i believe in steel
